Chaucer Funchess

Coach Chaucer Funchess has served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Simpson County Academy for the past 16 years, working with athletes across all sports. He also serves as the Director of Sports Performance for Apex Physical Therapy. Prior to these roles, Coach Funchess spent 10 years as the Associate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Coach Funchess is passionate about developing young athletes by instilling the values of hard work and discipline creating a foundation that leads to becoming stronger, faster, quicker, and more explosive.
